Hope & Action for Betrayed Partners

“Heal from Betrayal Trauma – Together.”

A revolutionary 8-week program that helps you recover from the trauma of infidelity while rebuilding your marriage. Karuna Healing puts your healing and the relationship’s repair hand-in-hand – a unique approach where both you and your partner heal in parallel.

Why You’re Still Hurt – And How Karuna Is Different.

If you’re like most betrayed partners, you’ve been left to pick up the pieces of your shattered trust. Maybe you’ve been told to “focus on your own healing” while your husband works on himself. Yet here you are – still hurt, still unsure if your marriage can ever be whole. It’s not your fault. The truth is, most approaches out there miss a critical piece.Karuna was built to address what others ignore – the relationship that’s been broken.

Typical Betrayal Trauma Advice
Karuna’s Healing-Together Approach

“Heal on your own first.”
Partners are often treated separately or told to just support the addict’s recovery, leaving the marriage in limbo

“Heal together from day one.”
We involve the couple as soon as it’s safe – working in parallel on recovery so that the marriage heals along with you

Partner’s pain ignored.
Many programs ignore the betrayed spouse’s trauma or use outdated “codependency” models that can feel blaming. Your deep pain and trauma often get minimal attention

Your trauma is front and center.
You get a dedicated betrayal trauma specialist (not just a generic counselor). We validate and treat your PTSD-like symptoms from betrayal – and teach your partner to actively support your healing

Marriage left to chance.
Little to no guidance on rebuilding trust together. Couples might only try marriage counseling much later, if at all – by then, it can be too late.

Hope for a restored marriage.
By doing the hard work together, you dramatically increase the chance of saving the marriage and making it fulfilling. You’ll see tangible changes in your partner’s behavior (honesty, empathy) and in your own peace of mind as trust rebuilds. You’re not just coping – you’re healing and growing as a couple.

🚫 The Problem: Most betrayal trauma programs focus only on helping you survive the trauma alone or advise you to wait and see if he changes – leaving your relationship broken and your heart still uncertain.

The Solution: Karuna Healing’s couples-focused approach treats the root causes of betrayal trauma for both partners – your husband learns empathy and accountability while you receive the care you need. Together, you begin restoring trust from the very start.

Your Roadmap from Trauma to Trust: The Karuna 8-Week Intensive

A parallel program designed just for betrayed partners – fully aligned with your spouse’s recovery.

“No guessing, just clarity.” – Begin with a thorough evaluation of your situation. You’ll complete a set of assessments that generate a personalized report. Know exactly what you’re dealing with – from PTSD symptoms to attachment wounds – so your therapist can tailor the treatment.

You get a private session each week with an expert therapist who specializes in betrayal trauma. Focus on YOU: process your trauma, learn coping tools for triggers and anxiety, and work on rebuilding your sense of self. This is where your individual healing happens – addressing nightmares, hypervigilance, self-blame, and grief. You’ll feel heard, validated, and guided.

In addition to individual therapy, the program includes guided couples work. We facilitate a structured disclosure and empathy-building session (so that secrets are out in the open in a safe, therapeutic way). Throughout the 8 weeks, there are periodic joint sessions or therapist-guided check-ins focusing on communication and trust-building exercises. This is NOT traditional marriage counseling; it’s specialized early-recovery couples work: we “take sides” when needed – holding the betrayer accountable to validate and comfort you. This way, he learns to consistently show up with empathy and honesty, which is critical for your healing  Your husband will be doing 80% of the repair work – our approach makes sure of that. For you, these sessions restore a sense of control and partnership in the process, rather than you feeling left in the dark.

Heal in community. Join a small group of other women who are also on this journey, led by Angie. In these weekly 85-minute group sessions, you’ll share experiences, receive support, and learn together. No one understands this pain like those who’ve lived it – and in this sisterhood, you’ll find strength. Group topics complement your 1-on-1 therapy: managing triggers in daily life, setting healthy boundaries, learning to love and heal your child parts, etc.

Self-paced video lessons created just for betrayed partners – totaling over 12 hours of guidance. These lessons are a cornerstone of Karuna’s program (they mirror what your spouse is learning but tailored to your perspective). Topics range from “Understanding Betrayal Trauma and PTSD”, to “Coping with Triggers and Anxiety”, “Setting Boundaries vs. Ultimatums”, “Rebuilding Self-Worth and Identity”, and “Repairing Trust and Intimacy”. Each lesson includes reflection exercises or journaling prompts so you can apply the concepts to your life. Why it matters: It’s a roadmap that educates and empowers you. By the end, you’ll not only have processed a lot of your pain – you’ll also have practical skills (mindfulness techniques, communication tools, etc.) and a clear understanding of what it takes to heal yourself and your relationship.

Here’s where Karuna truly shines as a couples-oriented solution. While you go through your 8-week journey, your husband is going through his – tackling his addiction, shame, and behavior change. Both tracks are synchronized. For example, the week he learns about empathy and accountability, you’ll be learning about expressing your needs and feeling heard. You’ll each have therapists who communicate and coordinate behind the scenes to keep progress balanced. Result: By the program’s end, you’ve grown individually and together – trust has begun to be rebuilt through mutual effort and understanding. This integrated approach means no one gets left behind; the marriage gets healed at the same time as the individuals
